Ardene Supports Local Shelters on International Women’s Day

International Women’s Day is a day for us to come together to celebrate the achievements of women and girls! It’s a day for us to stand together and lift each other up. It’s also a day to pay it forward and let women who are struggling know that they aren’t alone. Ardene has always promoted empowerment, and so we are reaching out to help women in need in our local communities.

Clothing Donation to Women’s Shelters

Lending a helping hand to someone who’s trying to get back on their feet can make a big difference, so Ardene is giving back to local women’s shelters and organizations. We had Each of our store locations across Canada chose a women’s shelter in their district and filled boxes with Ardene clothing and accessories and delivered them today to help support the women in their own neighborhoods.

Sending Even More Support

In addition to our clothing donations to shelters, our store teams went over and above and filled small gift boxes with extra essentials to donate. They packed a variety of everyday necessities like hats, scarves, tissues, bus tickets and toiletries and complemented them with some sweet surprises like candy and chocolate (always essential in our minds). They then delivered the gift boxes to local drop off points and women’s organizations, along with messages of support and encouragement from our teams to be distributed to local women.

Ardene is proud to be a Canadian company – one that employs many women in our stores and at head office – so to be able to help support women across Canada is an initiative very close to our hearts. We are also happy to be featuring incredible accomplishments from young women all over the country on our social channels, so let’s celebrate them and all the women in our lives today while we continue to inspire each other!
