Feels Like Home

Fall is right around the corner, and it will certainly be a different back to school season this year. Having adjusted to life at home for a few months now, many of us don’t know what to expect upon returning to school or work, which may feel a bit daunting. Our fall campaign, ‘Feels Like Home’ was inspired by our new reality and is therefore infused with the comfort we’ve grown used to, because there’s no place like home.

A Different Kind of Back to School

Throughout the summer months, many have been fortunate enough to be on vacation and enjoy the outdoors, so this fall will be the first time for some to have to set up a home or school office. Online classes and zoom sessions will replace face to face meetings and returning to school and work will mean a new environment of social distancing and wearing masks, so the comforting spaces we create for ourselves will become even more important for our well-being. Although working with school friends and colleagues from afar may present challenges, and our kitchen tables may be overworked with double duty, we will adapt together.

Our Campaign Inspiration

We were inspired by our new normal, and so we decided to focus on what feels like home in our new collection, because it’s a sentiment of comfort we all share. Whether it be our neighborhood or the space we make our own, home has become such an important part of who we are. It reflects our personalities, supports our needs and gives us a sense of peace and security, especially in these last few months. Being home has also allowed us to grow, take up new hobbies and discover new things about ourselves; a silver lining we are thankful for.

As we dip into cooler temperatures, we want to capture the cozy vibes of fall and the familiarity of your comfort zone, and so whether you are staying in or venturing out, you can take your sanctuary with you. Our collection features classic denim, plaid and back to school gear, as well as new loungewear, plush fabrics and cuddly pieces that will always feel like home.

As we navigate these times together and look forward to a new season of new adjustments, one constant that we can rely on is the comfort of home and community. Maintaining our mental well-being by reaching out and finding solidarity in each other gives us as much comfort as our cozy surroundings, so although we may be spending more time alone, we will get through this together because a sense of community feels like home.
