Jack Ride for Mental Health

To celebrate the end of Mental Health Awareness month, team members from stores and our head office participated in the Virtual Jack Ride last weekend, organized by Jack.org. The Jack Ride is held each spring in support of thousands of young leaders working for the future of youth mental health in Canada, and all funds raised support the incredible work Jack.org. does. Helping to build a future where young people have the education and resources they need to get the mental health support they deserve aligns with our values, and we're proud to have participated in this event.

Ardene x Jack.org

We started partnering with Jack.org last year to support its mission of empowering young people and fostering a society where the stigma surrounding mental health is eliminated. The organization works to create innovative mental health programs that are accessible to everyone, and it equips Jack.org youth advocates with the knowledge they need to educate their communities and strive for change. We've always recognized the importance of mental health; having launched our own programs and activities to support our team members, so working with Jack.org to support its cause was a natural partnership for us.

Our Virtual Ride

Jack.org has been hosting the Jack Ride for more than ten years now; an event that accounts for a large portion of its funding. The last few years have been virtual, allowing our store and head office teams to complete the ride from wherever they call home. Additionally, a group of team members decided to meet up to bike as a group and cycled for about 25 km throughout Montreal. Not only was it a fun, team-building activity, but in total, our teams raised close to $15.5k in donations! We're so happy to have been able to do our part and will continue to support Jack.org in its quest for youth mental health advocacy.
