Hidden talents: I have been figure skating for over 15 years, playing golf since I was 5 years old, and I can fall asleep anywhere.
Ideal vacation: To go on a real Safari in Africa, backpack in Australia, surf and play golf in Hawaii, or live 6 months in London
Something you can't live without: My family, my boyfriend, my dogs and food!
Q. What's a typical day at work for you?
A. I make sure that the E-comm photoshoots go well: I look at and prioritize what merchandise we need to photograph, do the styling with the assistant stylist and make sure the model looks good. At the same time, I prepare the styling for the next photo shoot and coordinate the next samples. I also prepare mannequins for the windows that will be in-store, do research to stay on top of current trends and work on trend boards.
Q. How has your role evolved since starting at Ardene?
A. I started at Ardene as a visual coordinator for the marketing department. Six months later I made the jump to junior stylist. I started out doing photoshoots for e-commerce and then started assisting the campaign stylist. I then became a Stylist and that's when I started doing all the campaigns. Now I have an assistant stylist by my side, which allows me to evolve and be the lead brand stylist to be able to continue my evolution at Ardene.
Q. What's your favorite part of working at Ardene?
A. The employees who work there. They are the ones who make a difference and create the atmosphere in which we work. Teamwork and mutual aid are everywhere at Ardene and make our work what it is! I'm always doing something new as well, because I don't like routine! So it's perfect.
Q. What accomplishment are you most proud of?
A. I am so proud of how far I have come since I started in 2017. I'm proud that I've grown as a human and discovered even more about my abilities, goals, and passions. I am proud of my journey, where I am now, working at Ardene and making a difference for this company!
Q. What challenges have you overcome in your career, and what did you learn from them?
A. I learned to trust myself more, even though I had no experience working in that specific field. I learned a lot about myself, and that trusting myself was the best thing I could do. Being passionate, working hard and always giving your best are the keys to success!
Q. What is your favorite Ardene memory?
A. The campaign we did in Mexico. There were many eventful moments and I have very fond memories of it. My first campaign as lead stylist will always be a favorite, too.
